Dear Parrikar- Saheb, Chief Minister of Goa Hon. Sir,
After assuming the charge of Governor of Goa by Smt Mridula Sinha I have noticed that her fleet of pilot vehicles passing through the D.Paula roads towards Bambolim roadways are seen blowing sirens twice mostly everyday during lunch and dinner time which I could notice as my house is just close to this road at the slope of NIO circle. I know that it is her prerogative being a Governor and she is entitled for her security. What is my point is why she has to trouble herself to get these pilot drivers of the jeep, security police staff etec when the roads are so bad from Cabo Raj Niwas upto the D.Paula circle? Why wastage of money and time of these policemen when Parrikar says there is a shortage of Staff in the Police Headquarters? I had a curiosity to see the road upto Palace is dug up and cut into half throughout the road for sewage work which is in progress. I have also seen that there is complete road block in this main road for the Governor to reach to her Palace, and there are two traffic sign boards showing diversion towards a private La Marvel colony and this road is so narrow that her grand official vehicle may not be comfortable to pass her entourage fleet of vehicles in this stretch of bad road. This road to Cabo Raj Niwas is totally blocked near our Director NIO residence bungalow and I was told by the Sewage Contractor that it will take 6 months for completion. It will be prudent that our Governor of Goa who has just assumed her posting in Goa, should be given a temporary office cum residence somewhere else so that she is not put in such an inconvenience. What a bad luck for her that the digging is going on when Governor has just joined and she is not even spared for her comforts in Goa? I am sure Parrikar will be able to settle her difficulties and give her a best official accommodation or a bungalow until this idiotic sewage work is completed and thus Police pilots and several security personal gets a freedom or speed up these sewage work. There are many police man looking after her entourage are been posted throughout the road and all the way up wherever she goes twice everyday towards Bambolim side probably for official duty or lunch /dinner. Hope this message is reached the concerned authorities, whether it is a Traffic dept, Collector or the Home dept to consider her difficulties. Stephen Dias D.Paula.
