The fact that Jose Vaz is a Brahmin is a fact. In fact, many, many years I think I wrote somewhere that the case of Vaz preceeded at a much faster rate than that of Fr. Agnelo. Those in the foiefront of the Vaz movement belong to the same caste. The Fr Agmelo was allegedly not promoted with the same vigious. When enquired with people who were aware of the "politics" behind Fr. Agnelo's case had been stuck because of lack of miracle/s. There was talk that the Pope would be approached to declare him saint without the formal adherence to the process. As we know, the Pope waived the need for a "second miracle." The process for canonization is complex. We have to wait and see. Casteism should have no place in religion, and should be avoided from making it big. Those who do so are committing a cardinal sin, and Fr. Jose Vaz must interceed with the Lord.
