In the names of first family Congress ruled for over India over six decades after Independence. They have tried to perpetuate their memories of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi by naming bridges, stadiums, airports, medical colleges, Roads. Gardens and number of social schemes ,projects believed to be over 600 plus. It appears India does not deserve credit to any other stalwarts in science, freedom fighters, medicine , science, sports, engineering and other fields. The politicians as a whole and parties try to immortalize themselves as sole promoters of wellbeing of India and ignoring the contributions of other citizens for justifiable public recognition
This trend has to change and change immediately to do justice of various citizens of India who have achieved recognition and contributed to the advancement and progress of India When names of States can be changed with ease and in spite of protest with International ramifications, it is much more feasible to rename the schemes exclusively in the names of first family etc. Some renaming are Bombay (Mumbai), Calcutta (Kolkata) ,Madras (Tamil Nadu);Malabar (Kerela); Belgaum (Belagavi), Mangalore, Bangalore(Manguluru,Bangaluru). Pondicheri (Pudecheri); Such corrections are not witch hunting, or erasing of history but rather a justified correction of gross aberration and psycophancy to please the family during their rule. The BJP has sounded the bugle, but short of action, a beginning is made by not naming Jan Dan scheme after any individual Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
