MOSQUITOES ARE EVERYWHERE AND ANYWHERE
Just after the monsoon season we see that the mosquitoes are everywhere and anywhere in the city of Panjim biting people, as the Health Dept is only busy curing patients for malaria. I have seen that the Health Dept sends a fleet of inspectors and their workers to spray and fuming the area wherever they found positive results of malaria. This is a good job but whose fault it is? Fortunately we have a good and smart Minister who is looking after both these portfolios " Health and Municipality " but he cant't help it. CCP and Taleigao Panchayat are the main culprits for such malaria fever in the city. There is no drive to clean the city as the garbage is stinking all over the areas of Panjim. Gutters are hardly cleaned up. Plants and trees have grown sideways of everybody’s house compound walls. Especially at Taleigao panchayat, houses taxes have already collected by them but no cleaning or cutting the grass is seen and nothing have been done for Taleigao. It is most unfortunate for the residents of city and Taleigao. That is the reason of mosquitoes menace and spread of malaria is all over. CCP and Taleigao Panchayat candidates are busy getting elected as MLA for the coming election . What a disgusting candidates we have who have no interest for the people who are suffering from Malaria, Dengue etc. but only thinking of becoming MLA of Panjim? Stephen Dias, D.Paula
