The last 15 days have left me depressed, saddened and prayerful, even as Team CSF poured over hundreds of instances of persecution and documented them yet again. *It also made me realise that we need to unite and support this labour of love, as much needs to be done. And those who respond to our appeals are too few.* *At least 5 Christians were killed, including a 11 year-old child, for being Christian in the last year*, according to the Indian Christian Persecution Report 2014 published by The CSF, a national activist community NGO that records attacks in the country and champions its cause. The report was released by the former judge of the Bombay and Karnataka High Courts, Justice Michael Saldanha and a copy presented to Cardinal Oswald Gracias, one of the 8 cardinals worldwide in Pope Francis' inner circle, who is also president of the Federation of Asian Bishops Conferences and circulated to the media. *The Times of India carried a write-up on the same and presented below is a synopsis of the booklet, which will be available soon.
