*DKA CALLS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKSHOPS*
Dalgado Konknni Akademi while going ahead with their schemes to promote
Romi Konkani in various forms, is organizing workshops on STORY, POETRY
and ESSAYS. These workshops will help Romi Konkani writers to know the ins
and outs of the subject while taking up writing as their profession.
Experienced writers (Resource Persons) in the respective field will guide
the writers to lift up Konkani to the national competition.
The Story and Poetry Workshops will be held on Sunday, 22 March 2015 and
Essay Workshop on Sunday, 29 March 2015. All the workshops will start at
10.00 a.m. in the morning at the office of Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Old
Education Dept. Bldg. 2nd Floor, 18 June Road, Near Pharmacy College, Panaji.
Eminent personalities from the field of Story, poetry and essays will be
present to sort out the problems faced by the writers. Vincy Quadros,
Secretary of DKA has called upon all the writers from Romi Konkani to
register themselves and take advantage of these workshops to take their
writings to the greater heights. The Secretary of DKA also appeals to the
Editors of Romi Konkani news Bulletins, Magazines and Monthlies to send
their writers to these workshops so that they will have an opportunity to
revisit the new avenues in their writings.
