GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL Since our PM encourages public suggestions/feedback I went to site mygov.in and found the site accepts only specific inputs. Anyway I sent the suggestion for use of Red lights and Sirens only in EMERGENCIES- vehicles and situations viz Ambulances, Fire Fighting Vehicles, Police when chasing criminals etc giving cogent reasons why it will be in public and nations interest. Absolute ban for use by VIPs. President,PM and entitled constitutional authorities may use blue lights. I was promptly given a registered number. When no further communication, I went to same site and quoting my registered number, was informed "Complaint Disposed". Reply it appears, was sent to me (not yet received after a month) cc Director(MVL), Shri Pranab Biswas PPDiv(MHA) for info and n/a. On further follow up, I have another registered number from [email protected]. By the time it gets forwarded to the correct authority who will actually acknowlege or take the trouble to understand and reply, its a "Merry-go-round". You just cannot beat the bureaucrats!
