An inspection by Goa Government, Water Resources Department on wed 03/05/2015 amidst controversy over the Maharashtra Government restarting work on ‘Virdi Dam Project’ despite a stop order by ‘Mhadei water dispute Tribunal’ confirmed changes at the dam site. It mandatory to follow the order of the Tribunal. However, Maharashtra Government has violated the Tribunal order to stop the ongoing work at the Virdi dam site.
