WATER TANKER WASHES TOURISTS VEHICLES Yesterday, on 26th March 2015 when I was passing through the by pass road from Caranzalem to Taleigao I saw a sophisticated water tanker washing tourists vehicles just at the footsteps of the chapel in Taleigao which is close to the Taleigao cemetery. The photograph is attached for the public information. This tanker is seen washing tourist vehicles having facility of a pressure gun built-in. I have immediately informed the Taleigao Panchayat in writing addressed to the Secretary and Sarpanch. The letter is handed over to the Secretary which has inward number. The Secretary played ignorant not knowing anything and also he did not know me either after I have told him that I am a voter of Taleigao and I have been paying House Tax of Rs 2000/- per year and I am a regular visitor of this Panchayat. He could not give me any assurance and said that the said letter will be placed in the meeting. Nobody knows in the Panchyat whether this will be discussed or not as I have earlier sent some letters but never taken action. That was regarding the widening of Road from Bambolim to D.Paula as it narrows down at the slope near NIO Circle which comes under Taleigao Panchayat area and becomes a bottle neck for the traffic. I expect the MLA of Taleigao Ms Jenifer Monserrate to take up both the issues.
