OPEN LETTER TO AAM ADMI ( AAP) by Stephen Dias
Sub: My observations on the upheaval in AAP. When AAP was formed it proclaims that there would be transparency, be free of corruption and remained equidistant from both Congress and B.J.P. Now, in today’s ( 28th March 2015 ), development which had taken place at the National Council by professional bouncers expelling two great members Yogendra Yadav and Prasant Bushan from AAP panel which followed with an another member Ajit Jha and also Midha Patkhar quitting the party was very sad to digest. It is unfortunate to learn that this kind of upheaval has taken place at the Central High Command under the AAP leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. A “ dejavu” has taken place and our Goan leaders like Dr.Oscar Rebello, Valmiki and Rajashree Nagarsekar probably were surprised of this move taken place to sack these two stalwarts central leaders from AAP. Nothing is known what could be the consequences of this decision taken by the National council meeting. It is allegedly been told that the rebels might be seeking help from experts to bounce back and take legal recourse. This whole exercise shows an immaturity in politics and may be a good sign for AAP to keep going stronger. If such kind of politicians happened to exist in Goa AAP cadre, probably they should now itself leave the party before another resolution to expel them takes place.
