Xavier Centre is organizing a History Hour 'Remembering Lucio on his birth
centenary' at 5.30 pm on Wednesday, the 15th of April, at its premises at
Alto Porvorim to pay tribute to his life and work. Professor Lucio
Rodrigues was an authority on Goan Folklore. His writings were posthumously
published under the title "Of Soil and Soul and Konkani Folktales". He was
a Professor of English at various well known colleges. He was also the Head
of the Department of English at Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar
until his death in 1973. All are invited to celebratae his life and work..
