In an interview with the TOI, here are the howlers: He took 3 months to figure out the various ranks. How did he get admission into the IIT even though one knows it's only the metallurgy branch. By way of further explanation he says he could not "figure out which officer what on which level". Was he confused between an Ensign and an Admiral, a Pilot Officer and an Air Marshal or was it a Second Lieutentant and a Lieutenant General. He goes on to say he has no background in the Armed Forces but he has the technical knowledge. Gleaned from where one might ask; the metallurgy text books? And last of all; discipline is an issue with Goans, but that doesn't mean they are indisciplined. What might one ask is the difference here. Roland. Sent from my iPhone
