Yesterday, Sunday, 10 May 2015 the Gonvll'i Bap'pa of Goa Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao who was born in Moira visited. It was to celebrate the Confirmation of many kids from the village.
In the bad old days this Confirmation was just another occasion that solemnly but quietly went by. But nowadays what with everyone having money, everyone celebrated in style. My wife went for a lunch party for Bonny at Salu our neighbour in the afternoon, and in the evening we both went for a party for Vivan at the club. It was like a mini-wedding. And there were parties that were held at Green Park and such posh locations. One nice thing about these days is that people have money to splash. Not like our days. Don't know whether I was born at the wrong time. Best Augusto Augusto
