A rather rare combination, and a charming touch that, the tiatr actor John D'Silva inaugurating a painting exhibition. It took some vision to bypass the usual suspects for the honour, but considering the theme of the exhibition (Folgam!), I suppose, a logical decision. The other surprise are the paintings, particularly the taverna (with the kashtti-wearers and the woman tending the bar) and the tiatr in the village; not exactly stock images of life in Goa as captured in painting, I might think. Great job, Joe!
