*Sporting Clube de Goa and Shillong Lajong lock horns*
Sporting Clube de Goa will take on Shillong Lajong in the HERO I-League at JN Stadium, Shillong on Wednesday. The kick off time is 4.30pm and the game is live on TEN ACTION. Sporting Goa is currently on 17 points from seventeen matches, while Shillong are on 20 points from the same number of games. In their last match the Flaming Oranje overcame title contenders McDowell Mohun Bagan 2-1 to stretch their unbeaten run to six games, after mercurial striker Odafa Okolie netted a second half brace. Lajong on the other hand overcame Bharat FC 3-1 in their last outing, with their top goal scorer Glen Cornell taking his tally to 13 for the season after netting a second half hat-trick. Sporting Goa will be missing defenders Sandesh Jhinghan and Chandrashekar Chinta who are both out injured. Trinidad and Tobago striker Anthony Wolfe comes back into the team after serving a one game suspension. Shillong will be without club captain Aibor Khonjee and Pritam Kumar who are both out injured. When the two clubs met in March, in Goa the match ended in a 1-1 draw. This game is vitally important for both teams as we come to the business end of the league with only three games left to play.
