I don't know about the rest of India, but Goa is already a water scarce state. Want proof ??Just look at the number of water tankers plying the roads of Goa. Wars between States for increasingly scarce water have already begun. Maharashtra has already started by trying to divert some of the water coming down our \Mandovi (Mhadei) river.Rampant construction of high rises all over Goa, with nary a concern about where the waterwill come from to supply these developments. As has already happened along the beach belt, without a proper sewage removal system, septic systems will overwhelm our groundwater aquifers denying this age old source of water. Nobody cares till the shit hits the fan !!!All elected officials care about is how much loot they can accumulate, while the poor folks be damned.
