The BJP’s hidden agenda is clearly unraveling. The BJP President Amit Shah who is in Goa today instead of giving Goans a categorical assurance that there will be no beef ban has craftily stated that the local people would be consulted before deciding on beef ban.
Amit Shah’s statement today runs clearly contrary to the clear-cut statement made by Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar. Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on March 20 had said “BJP-ruled Goa would not ban beef as it is an essential part of the cuisine of minority communities in the state” “Regardless of what the Centre does — in Goa minorities are 39-40% — if it is part of their food habits, why and how can we ban it? For people — especially minorities — eating beef is part of their food," Parsekar added. People voted for the BJP with a hope of good governance but have belatedly realized that they have landed from the frying pan into the fire. It’s time now to slaughter the BJP and its vicious agenda.
