Albert Peres,The situation in Goa is not much different.
A few years ago, I took my wife and family to Goa for the first time. When we
opened our balcony door on the first morning, there was a boy, barely in his
teens, with a pickaxe digging up the road. I looked at my wife and she said,
"Don't worry, I have seen this before in Mexico."
Next to the teenager was his mom. When the teenager stopped for a rest, his
mother took the pickaxe and started working. Least I forget, she was also
carrying an infant on her back.
My relatives assured me that these people were not Goans.
