Hi all I have been fascinated to hear of the concrete 400 bed facility, newly inaugurated Central Jail at Colvale. A possible Tourist attraction with the current line up Mickey, Dilip, Peter, Irene, Fatima doing the conga vying for space with their dishonourable behaviour while in public office. In England and Wales there are over 86,000 criminals in custody at any one time including in police cells (not sure what numbers make up the Goan contingent). I am hoping it will now be possible for dishonourable people who commit civil crimes against our community outside Goa to be arrested on arrival on Goan soil and be processed to join the conga for jailbirds at Colvale.
