The Goan Overseas Association (GOA) will be hosting a meeting with visiting ministers and government officials from Goa (Mr. Avertano Furtado, Minister for Labour, Employment, Fisheries and NRI Affairs, Dr. Wilfred Menezes Mesquita, Hon'ble Commissioner for NRI Affairs and Mr. U.D. Kamat, Director for NRI Affairs) to be scheduled the first week of September in Mississauga, Ontario. The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate discussions between the visiting Goan Minister and Goan Community in Canada to help address some of the issues NRI Goans have been facing with regards to property matters, government procedures & policies, OCI, Visas etc. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact us and also requested to provide concerns or questions in advance to [email protected] by August 12th, 2015 Exact date to be confirmed.
