The Calangute young lads 15 year old Rishi Gomes and his 14 year old brother Amon Gomes have done Goa proud by standing second and third respectively in the Junior foreign category at this year’s National Super cross Championship. It is very heartening to see this young duo’s inspiring triumph. The Goa Government needs to recognize this remarkable and amazing feat achieved by Rishi and Amon.
Rishi and Amon leave Goa tomorrow to represent India at the FIM ASIA MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2015, to be held in Malaysia on the 14 and 15th of August. Rishi and Amon are the youngest Indians to ever represent our country at the official Asian MX Championships. Let our best wishes be with our very young sportsmen Rishi and Amon. May they achieve further laurels making their village Calangute, Goa and India proud. Their parents Ashley Gomes (a very distinguished motor racer himself) and Deepali Gomes deserve all the credit for having been very supportive and a guiding force for their young lads. May those words of Vince Lombardi always inspire Rishi and Amon in the years to come “It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up” Aires Rodrigues Advocate High Court C/G-2, Shopping Complex Ribandar Retreat, Ribandar – Goa – 403006 Mobile No: 9822684372 Office Tel No: (0832) 2444012 Email: airesrodrigu...@gmail.com Or airesrodrig...@yahoo.com You can also reach me on Facebook.com/ AiresRodrigues Twitter@rodrigues_aires
