This is a Centrally-funded university, which means it is strong in resources. Last year I had the chance to visit its campus at Shillong (its headquarters is at Hyderabad and they have another campus at Lucknow) and found it interesting. Apparently, seats at places like scenic Shillong go abegging sometimes, because it's a bit far from the rest of 'mainstream' India. Prof Brian is alumni there, and could tell us more. Wish more Goa students would apply. Or that we could have a campus of this kind here too, given our interest in languages far and wide.
