I find the figure quoted of 7 lacs processed by one agent as incredulous that would be a huge population of Goans, Damanese and the people of Diu. I cannot dispute the figures quoted but it is shocking if people are taking on Portuguese Passports for the sake of security - they don't feel safe in India...how sad. Equally sad is the Doctor who wrote that she obtained a Portuguese Passport, I am not sure that Indian qualifications are recognised in the EEC, further studies and examinations would have to take place.
