STAMP WARS Ever since BJP came to power the BJP is needlessly needling the Gandhi and Nehru legacy. The discontinuance of Indira, Rajeev of Rs.5 stamp has raised a stink .It is clear that Congress is crying vendetta.Legacy of entire freedom is wrongly appropriated by Congress. There is definite over and excessive exposure of first family. BJP and RSS were nowhere in the forefront of freedom movement, About 450 projects, project their importance, There are any number of roads , bridges, stadiums, schemes , hospitals exclusively bear their names to the exclusion of other deserving Indian contributors There are two types of stamps definitive and commemorative stamps on events, Definitive stamps in the past included monuments, map of India Etc. Even definitive stamps need to be in definitive. Ambedkar stamps of a definite nature was discontinued It is not true that definitive stamps only lionize Nehru Gandhi family, there have been others too, who do not have link with the first family Except for Politicians all types of contributors, social movement leaders are ignored BJP now in power with a majority has also the right to introduce more stamps honouring those who have been left out, but giving an impression of correcting the wrong done is not inspire confidence, The BJP during their rule never ever raised forcefully this historical wrong. BJP will now find it expedient to add their own supporters and further justify historical aberrations These are only political gimmicks , emotional , diversional outbursts to the exclusion of all other important, pressing issues facing the Nation
