POSTING OF ARUN DESSAI FROM RTO TO COLLECTORATE Ref: Arun Dessai has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector-II in the North Goa Collectorate published in Navhind Times dated 16th Sept 2015
It is interesting step taken by the Govt of Goa by transferring a person from Director of Transport to Additional Collectorate-II and that too in North Goa on account of corruption charges investigations in his RTO dept. I understand that the Vigilance is on the job on account of their staff-member peon Damu taking bribe of one lakh. Instead of keep RTO Director Arun in suspension the Govt is looking for a better posting where he can continue to do his stunts if he is found guilty. Is this a solution to get the formalities done by giving a posh transfer assignment? He could have very well been suspended than to allow him to continue for a better posting.
