The late Dr. Jack Sequeira and the late Dayanand
Bandodkar were two leaders of stature and with a
vision for Goa.
It is disgusting that it has taken the Corporation of
City of Panaji five years to implement its own 2002
resolution to install a statue in memory of the late
Dr. Jack Sequeira.
Jack Sequeira and Dayanand Bandodkar must be rolling
in their heavenly abode at the way Goa is being
selfishly governed today.
I do hope that I do not in my lifetime have the acute
pain of learning about the unveiling of a portrait or
statue in memory of Goa's current rulers.
