This Market could be the Marvel of Goa and the world over. But no. There are too many starving cooks who want to grow sumo wrestler's bellies. The Flower Market is another pre 1961 heritage these hyenas want to gobble and grow fat on. The uncalled for increase in the Municipal wards through ordinance from existing 15 to 20 to seat the Bap ka Ladla beta is another. The reigning chaos of vehicles parking in and around Mapusa Market is something that the MMC should be hammered with, which includes unfinished Mapusa Market approach roads after the JICA devastation. UGF should come as the intervener in the Petition filed by the MPU against the DMA for this unnecessary increase in wards in Mapusa. Power to UGF. GSRP
