BEEF ISSUE IS STRETCHED Delhi police sent a platoon of 2 0 policemen at the Kerala Bhavan to check a rumour of beef being on the menu The alacrity with which the police acted is surprising. Unfortunately the police is slow on more demanding crimes facing Delhi. Cow beef is banned as per law in Delhi .It is another incident that is bordering on militant intolerance on the freedom of citizens, such intolerance has been accentuated with rise of BJP to power., No less than the President and V.P of India found it disturbing to caution on such acts of intimidation, As per Delhi act the police could not enter the Kerala Bhavan to check violations on beef. Section 11 of the Act permits, authorizes only two individuals namely the Director of Animal Husbandry and the Veterinary officer. The police with the Sena brigade trespassing Keral Bhavan is against the canon of laws. How are they competent to verify the offence on the spot without any expertise to pronounce verdict on the spot without DNA test? The tamasha enacted by the police in utter haste is unprecedented, when no serious crime was committed on the premises. Mere apprehension to ward of communal riots at he best of the informer, who is also know to the police as tormentor of troubles, speaks volumes on police swiftness The public is right in concluding that there is a greater plot to accentuated the intolerance and there by polarize the communities for political gains
The sanctity of Kerala Bhavan is thus violated by Delhi police without due precaution, thus aggravating the federal structure of the country with non BJP ruling that state as usual the RSS tactically and cleverly distancing itself as having overtly no role to play the cultural intolerance impinging on freedom is increasingly loud and clear in various parts of the country Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
