This is Vigilance Week and while Goa has been conveniently kept without the promised Lokayukta, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has been only sermonizing on the need of uprooting Corruption.
It is time the Chief Minister first gets his own Ministers and MLAs, some of whom are awfully corrupt to take the pledge. May be he should also give an earful to the likes of his own brother-in-law who was recently caught red handed receiving a bribe of Rs 50000. And coming to the Chief Minister himself will he walk the talk and make public his assets as of date. From 9 crores in 2007 his assets soared to a whopping 31 crores in 2012. Mr. Chief Minister, please enlighten us on what are those tools you have been using to reap such a bumper crop.
