Quite a few studies in the past, in addition to the recent WHO warning of processed meats being in Group One cancer causing substances including tobacco and asbestos, are showing a direct link to the disease.
Now the all-important question for Goans is: Are Goa Sausages in the processed meats category. The main preservative is vinegar, Sodium Cloride is heavily used, but no nitrates are added as in European sausages or American hotdogs. Roland Francis Toronto
