Foreign Contribution to organizations in India is regulated by Foreign
Contribution Regulatory Act, where prior permission or registration is
required to receive funds from abroad. However, NRIs can transfer to
organizations if they hold Indian passport.
Other private transfers to individual accounts is regulated by other norms.
