THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN SAY……… that will ease the pain of losing one ,whom we love, respect ,admire. Sudden loss is always a shock of unexpected event and we are not prepared to accept it. ,When some one is young having plans for future, a life ahead full of hope and promises, it becomes more difficult even to tolerate or entertai the idea even, Questions will be raised, accusations leveled, blames floated and unreasonableness of creator scrutinised. When old and infirm ed, those waiting and praying for merciful end, then those surrounding may feel relieved, as a just end. Understandable that those whom we hold in our arms for a long time, will now hold them in our hearts forever . Is there an option but to immortalize them in the monument of our hearts and minds? Is it not the best place we can treasure? We will conform to old, tested traditions, customs,to visit the final resting space, stand in mounful silence, shed floods of accumulated tears. The trauma is for more the living to accommodate with the reality of permanent disappearnce. The physical vacuum of not seeing, hearing, talking, feeling etc leaves a void of pain in their absence and disappearance for ever What a philosophy, that someone you loved becomes a treasured memory, leaving a scar that will not heal with the passage of time, the experience is personal wound and cannot be generalized, as all will pass this way only once ,death serving as gateway to beyond, and with some religions assurance of final resurrection .That is the consolation and soothing balm to the bleeding hearts and wrecked mental balance of stability .The dependence and those intimately related ,suffer the deadly truth. The only way to get to them in the new stage, may be through spirit medium, prayers and other means of social service, benevolent acts of charity. It is said that if tears could build a stairway, memories a lane, then we would walk right up to heavens and bring the departed home again. Scientist and medicines have been able to extend life span, reduce physical pain , replace, transpalnt some organs but not defy death under any circumstances .It is only divine who can have the power over death when we witnessed supernatural events in Bible and no other religion .Death some time is a big leveler, when worldly order offers or provides no relief from drudgery of unbearable sufferings. It is only philosophical, spiritual, rational course in yielding to let go, what is not within our grasp. and comprehension. Can a finite mind fathom the depths of the mystery of infinite creator? What cannot be cured has to be endured and what mystery we cannot comprehend has to be believed with spiritual vision with hope. There is nothing mortal being can resort to reverse the scourge of death in humanity., at least with all resource of medical inventions and discoveries at our command to date
