Dear all, Thank you very much for your kind support and the huge response received at the 2nd World Peace Music Festival, Sufi Sutra, held at Kala Academy Goa on Feb 10-12, 2016. We really appreciate it. We thank Directorate of Art & Culture for hosting the festival in collaboration with Kala Academy.
As you may be aware that throughout the year, we work with the rural folk artists and help them developing new audience and new market linkage, as part of our Art for Life mission. As part of our efforts, we will be hosting a Goa Bengal folk mela at Ravindra Bhavan, on Mar 1 to 12, 2016, where 150 rural artists of Bengal will be presenting their handicrafts and 10 different folk performing arts including Puppetry, Baul, Chau, Natua and Raibeshe. Folk artists of Goa will also be joining in the mela. These are opportunities for all, especially children to know about traditional art and culture of rural India and for the tourists to witness the same. May we request you to come and join us at the folk mela and also help us to disseminate the information. Its a free entry and open to all. *Mar 1 to 12, 2016* *Ravindra Bhavan* *Handicraft - 4 to 9 pm* *Folk performance - 6:30 pm onwards* *Open entry* Regards Amitava Amitava Bhattacharya Founder Director www.banglanatak.com 98310 38904 cc: Kankan, Resident Representative, banglanatak dot com Goa Chapter, Benaulim, 9604274916
