Wanted to build church in Vanxim but Bishop sold land. Wanted to build floating church and place in Mandovi but casinos plying trade. No place for church and celebrations. BC
GL Responds: The last?I read, TOURISM?is Goa's largest sector of the economy; directly and indirectly employing most Goans of?ALL caste and creed.? To attract the tourists, (AND THEIR MONEY)?Goa needs celebrations .... and more celebrations. ?For Goa's?economy these celebrations are not fun.? It is business, money and employment. If Catholics are concerned about being relegated, celebrate in a big way the feast of Goa's own son St. Joseph Vaz.? Build a cathedral in his honor.?? Celebrate the other Christian festivals.
