Students of Xaviers Institute of Communiation [XIC] after their field visits to
some of the Police Stations.

    Date; Tuesday, 23 February, 2015 : Time : 11.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m

Venue: Audio Visual Room , 3rd Floor, XIC Building, Xaviers College Campus,
Mahapallika Marg, Mumbai 400 001.

We cordially invite you to listen to the interesting reportings of the
Students of XIC after their visits to several police stations in Mumbai.

    Some of the findings:
    - Women police are not safe while doing their work and on their way home
    - No proper facilities for women personnel and insufficient women police
personnel in police stations.
    - Most of the police personnel spoken said they would not like their
children to join the police force and........ several more interesting
observations

Do attend to cover this programme to understand at the micro level the
state of our policing in Mumbai.

Police Reforms Watch had run a programme for the XIC students on Police
Reforms and Better Policing Campaign . As an outcome of the said programme, the
students had volunteered to do a project on policing issues and concerns.

    warm regards,
