There must be a special hell reserved for those who kill in the name of God,
any God.

Farkhunda was an Afghan teen student of a madrassa in Kabul. Going to the
mosque she was accused by a man of burning the Quran and when a crowd gathered,
she was stoned and then burned while 11 policemen stood by and did nothing.

One year has passed. Those sentenced to death have been commuted to life. All
others have been let off.

Afghan women are brave. They have been protesting against this atrocity and
have asked that Afghanistan be separated from Islam. A courageous demand
indeed, in the land of the Taliban.

Would Indian women have the courage to demand that India separate from Hinduism
to prevent religious strife?

A Common Civil Code is long past its justly deserved implementation.
