Collection of APL ration cards The BPL ration cards were distributed ward wise in Village panchayats Peole are put to great inconvenience in travel, hours of waiting,long Q`s to collect APL at the District administrative centre at Margao. Suddenly people are shocked to learn about the compulsion of identity proof and also court fee stamp Why the new document cannot be collected simply after depositing the existing ration cards. Why Rs 10 cannot be called as an alternative? On the other hand EPIC are dilivered at the residence Instead of making distribution easy the Govt things nothing short of harassment, unmidnful of senior citizens, women and elderly Why cannot the same procedure be followed as was the case of distribution of BPL ration cards and the nmbers are much more less. Or is the Goovt under illusion that APL holders can udertake this routine if they wish or else it is rumoured that the authorities will burn them after April 30, 2016 Govt want the people to protest and our representatives wants the voters to cry to understand their plight.
