--OPEN LETTER TO ALINA SALDANHA Dear Alina ,
Your press statement in Herald TODAY ( 20TH APRIL) is incomplete and does not give many facts. First you did not say whose wedding was planned although you must have been aware off. For your information the wedding is well established and it is of Sanjeev 's son, named Sidant Jain on 22. April 2016. Sanjeev was behind of removal of River Princess owner of M's Arihant Ship builders and breakers which was responsible for getting the contract over a 100 crores and paid by the Government after the approval from monitoring committee. The Arossim pontoon was drifted to the shore (beach) due to pre monsoon winds and now is stuck or grounded and may be another 100 crores will be siphoned from the Government if they cannot retrieve it easily? GOD only save us from this finances. Alina, why are you blaming now the other authorities for environment and ecology issues? What have you done when you were an Environment Minister? Mandovi river is still with casinos congestion, sewage discharging in the river, garbage not collected everyday , small boats running with tourists and making mess, children park also were found using tourists and buying tickets in the park itself, and boarding on those small boats for site seeing illegality, when the Captain of Ports are just nearby watching the fun? What the Forest Dept was upto? Let us see and how this new Environment Minister is going to tackle all such menace that we have in the rivers of Goa? Park Hyatt was earlier in the news for Joy Helicopter rides where Fr.. Conceicao de Silva going all the way from Taleigao Church have blessed this voyage, when the priest is already available in their village? Now the same Hotel is likely be holding a wedding ceremony of Sidanth Jain son of Sanjeev and later a planned ceremony on board the pontoon ? Now grounded! Arossim villagers must come out like Caurem villagers what they did on mining issue! Goa day by day is getting muckier. GOD BLESS OUR TINY STATE GOA Stephen Dias Social Activist and Senior Ciitizen Dona Paula Date: 20.4.2016 --------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
