GL responds: I thought to be a Canadian citizen, one had to learn Civics. Rafael in my view is a Sleeze. The big question: Will Hillary have an easier time beating Rafael or Donald i.e. who is better for Hillary? The sad part is these two made it from a slate of 17 candidates. Granted a few of them were unfit, there were a few including Governor Kasick that made more sense these than the two winners. The sad and scary part is in straw polls, these two guys still get at least 45% of the general vote. Regards, GL

It would have been really embarrassing to all if Rafael Cruz was nominated as the Republican candidate. Rafael claimed, until a year or two ago, that he was Canadian. Then he woke up one morning and renounced his Canadian citizenship.
