I reach for the headache pills when I see Mr. Stephen Dias 'Ex NIO scientist
and Senior Citizen' write. He copies his posts to all and sundry (he could well
bcc them) and what's worse gets away with what was once Goanet Admin's strict
rule.

Some time ago it was the number of posts of condolence from Mr. Nelson Lopes
and cohorts with regards to Chinchinim luminary from AIR passing away. Don't
get me wrong. The man was a star in my view. I enjoyed FNs interview with him
but about a hundred posts of his virtues would have embarrassed even him if he
could read them.

Then of course is the ever-persistent Aires Rodrigues Esq. I'd hate to be the
target of Aires' ire but neither the authorities, nor the politicos, nor Mr.
Defence Minister seem to care. In fact the more he rails, the more the target
consolidates power.

Dr. Santosh Helekar graced us with his solitary post. Hope that is his
comeback. I don't always agree with him, but he makes good points and writes
factual posts except for his insistence on peer reviews. Reminds me of Fidel
Castro. Determined, tenacious and brooking no nonsense.

I love reading Messrs. Jim Fenandes and Vivian D'Souza, one from New York and
the other Michigan. Jim has come up with a new episodes on Miscrap (awaiting
Season 2) and Vivian seems a little worse for wear from his half yearly Goa
soujourns. Bet he must be glad when he leaves Dabolim for the sanity of
Michigan.

Resurrected is the indefatigable Mr. Mervyn Lobo. He's a little quiet on Gold
but gung-ho about some other investment bet. His days of offering free advice
on Goanet are over it seems. The advice has become precious it seems and
interested parties have to contact him and pay for it. Also with his departure
to the States with a Trump victory, Canada will lose an enormous resource.

There's Dr. Jose Colaco of course. Not to be outdone by the Panama papers, he
is working on the Bahama papers. He gives us a preview now and then with advice
on how Goans can with hard work, law abidance and higher education reach out
for success. Many must be benefiting from that advice but not the Swindon Goans
who seem to be getting nabbed with child offences and substituting real meat
with pet food. But as someone sympathetically said, first generation Irish,
Polish and Italians must have done it too.

Then we have our daily music dose. In the early days we had Mr. Gabe Menezes of
the U.K. doing the oldies and Mr. Con Menezes doing health, healing and other
matters. Now he seems to have drifted to the music too and Gabe has taken this
with an accepting spirit. No fights, just co-existence.

The religious posts seem to have receded keeping only Mr. or is Fr. Devak
Argham keeping the home fires burning. I tried to stir the pot once or twice
but either I am ignored, or everyone seems to have come to my train of though.

With malice towards all and friendship with none. Isn't that what Kushwant
Singh the lecher used to say.

On the subject of satyrs, didn't anyone notice that the fairer sex seem to keep
out of Goanet except when they have to make some brief announcement on behalf
of some NGO or other?

Our brave Xena the Warrior Princess has long decided that Goanet is a worthless
pursuit and her time is better spent on East African Goan history.
