Hi all,

While we were in Goa last month it seemed like there were a variety of
different "styles" to license(number) plates on the cars there. It seems
like one could buy a number plate from a retailer? They all seemed to have
specific characters to conform to a national standard but the designs,
colors and other decals on them varied a fair bit.

The reason I ask is that I wanted to get a plate to use as a front (vanity
plate) on our car here in the US. Fake European (DE, BE, FR, IT,
continental) plates are available all over Ebay and even at online retailers
here in the US. Some states in the US and provinces in Canada don't
require a front plate so you can put whatever you want on there.

Does anyone know if I can have a plate made in Goa to look real? Or if
there's some place that I can buy used plates from?

Thanks!

Kevin
