Thanks for bringing this up Bernardo!
Caipirinha  Brazil's national cocktail, is made with cachaça, sugar and lime.
Cachaça, also known as Pinga or Caninha, is Brazil's most common distilled
alcoholic beverage made from sugar cane juice.Interesting reference  here:

Recipe for Caipirinha :

Half a lime cut into 4 wedges, 2 Teaspoons brown sugar, 1 2/3 oz CachaçaPlace
lime and sugar into old fashioned glass and muddle (mash the two ingredients
together using a wooden spoon). Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the
Cachaça. Enjoy!
Recipe for a Goan take on the Caipirinha:
Replace Cachaca with  Caju Feni (distilled from the juice of Caju apples) or
with Maddel Feni (distilled from the sap of coconut flower pods.)
This also helps with bouts of Saudades de Goa ...
Best Regards,E.
