No matter what Nigerians have done to earn the ire of Chief Ministers and others in Goa, one cannot discriminate against a community, nationality, race or gender in this day and age.
To add to Parsekar's public vitriol against black African visitors in Goa, ex-chief minister Ravi Naik, a tainted politician himself, now calls them by the pejorative 'negroes'. For Indians this is a natural progression. First hate other castes, then hate people from other states, follow that with other religions and now find someone darker than you. Only fear of a strong hate speech law, robustly implemented, will curb this nasty problem from burgeoning.
