Eugene, there may some confusion between the Goa Book Club (likely still resides and meets in Goa to discuss books), the Goa Book Club Mailing List (which is followed by lovers of writing and books about Goa) and GoaBook.Club (which seems to be a URL and trade name associated with Goa1556). I too am confused.

Let me say this humorously: You may have to show your Indian Writers Union Card to be included in Part II...If its a book supported by a government grant, you may have to additionally show some appropriate ID to prove you national identity...And further, you may have to show income statements to prove you are a writer who has made it!

Maybe now is the time for an Autobiography. You, arguably, have lived ten lives when compared to most Goans. I'd buy a copy...

Augusto, I noticed the cover-designer /illustrator is mentioned on the cover. The back cover.

If the work is an illustrated book, rather that one that just contains spot illustrations or illustrated chapter titles, it yes would be more appropriate to give credit on the front cover. (I don't know if this applies, I don't have a copy on the text pages)

I would suggest in a heavily illustrated work, like some children's books, the illustrators is a co-creator and would have full credit equivalent to the author.

In end though, most busy designers don't usually care. A paid Invoice is what counts. And a final copy and working sketches in a portfolio of current work is worth far more than a credit on a cover when chasing additional work.

Goa Book Club was part of it... seems the "owner" or administrator took
upon himself to make GBC a shareholder in the project without asking other members.
