I don't dispute that the Chinese had gunpowder earlier. Did
the Chinese have factories? Does Mervyn3.0 have a reference
for the statement "The first gunpowder factory was in
China."? I'd be interested in looking at it if he does.

Folks,
Everyone knows that gunpowder was discovered by the
Chinese. The first gunpowder factory was in China. The
very fact that statements like the above are blindly
published in the Goan press says a lot about the state
of it.
