Commendable that Frederick Noronha made possible a book about the Burma Goans. If not for his encouragement a chapter of Goan Diaspora history may not have been written.
I remember him sending me a link to the draft of the Ebook gratis, but I repaid the favour with purchasing a couple of copies after the book was available. Now Yvonne must take on the task of writing about the history of Goans in that country. Why they went, how they lived and interacted with the local folk. She did indeed make references to it in her 'Tales of the Survivors', but a more in-depth narration would find its place on readers' shelves.
