Xri Correia in all your posts you do not condone the barbaric act that took place. Instead you come with your story that your family member tried to help with a bribe to compensate a death. On the other hand Luisa's family complimented you probably because you reignited the horrific killing which has never been investigated. BC
As I said, Roland knows the case better than me. And presumably his IQ is better because I don't fully know the details of the case. Did I say "neice"? Luiza was daughter of Manuel. I did say "from a window" instead of saying "outside a window" and the legs were separated from the body. Only Roland thinks they were joint together. According to Roland, who has not read the reports of the tragedy that appeared in the newspapers, it was said the grenade didn't fully explode. Whether the jawan had bunked the classes where the use of grenade was taught I don't know. The jawan should have consulted Roland on the use of a grenade. Good reasoning of just snatching the cigarettes. Did Roland know they were just lying across the counter? I hope he had read my original story in OHeraldo. He wants to argue without knowing the background to this case. They didn't vow to punish the neice, as this wise guy assumes, but they threatened to show him, as the jawans were drunk. I gave inforation that Manuel was pro-Portuguese to show that he was unhappy at the army's takeover of Goa, as people who knew him said so. I think Roland needs an iced-tea. The posters on NG are mostly pro=Portuguese and they are vehemently anti-Indian. Roland believes in the poster's questioning my IQ, and that says much about Roland than about the poster. As for the story on Luiza that I wrote for OHeraldo years ago, Luiza's family members would not have complimented me on providing the facts. The OHeraldo would not carry the story if it didn't meet their approval. Besides, OHeraldo would not let me write a column it it knew my IQ was low, as the poster suggested and as Roland approves the poster's view. What Merwyn has said shows me what a great "expert' Roland is. And I thought he knew well about shares and market prices. And also of Tigers in Canada. The way Roland argued with Merwyn, and is now arguing with me I must also say, I rest my case. Eugene Correia As far as I am concerned I will not be writing on this subject more. Let the expert argue, as I said he knows better.
