There are more than a few ways to deal with this but the most effective are the following three:
Bring lawsuits to bear in the Indian courts against the BJP govt for every persecution incident. Rally the Christians to unite across the country wherever they are in significant numbers; the North-East states, Goa, Kerala and Karnataka and bring political and media pressure to bear on the BJP. Since the USA is currently having a love affair with Modi for strategic reasons of their own i.e. a Hindu bloc, traditional enemies of the Muslims, to counter Islamism and Pakistan, the Christians of India can create support among the powerful Christian Conservatives of the southern US to use pressure on Washington to prevent Indian Christian persecution.
