Dear friends from press and media in Bcc,
Forwarding to you the invitation from the Chorao Communidade committee and the local St. Bartholomew Church committee for the inauguration of Goa's very first chapel specially built and dedicated to Mother Teresa (St. Teresa of Calcutta). The inauguration will happen tomorrow *(this Sunday) at 5pm IST at Chamberen, Chorao* (Google Maps location: *https://goo.gl/maps/sCtcUjQdTqj* <https://goo.gl/maps/sCtcUjQdTqj>) at the hands of Rev. Fr. Gabriel Coutinho, the Chief Guest for the function with the local parish priest, Rev. Fr. Minguel Pereira, as the Guest of Honor. The village leaders went all out to design, construct and ready this chapel (see attached pictures) in time for the momentous occasion of the canonization of Mother Teresa by Pope Francis tomorrow in Rome. Inspired by Mother Teresa’s life and her work the village leaders have committed themselves to put their own and community resources to the best use in service of humanity in coming days on our island of Chorao-Madel. Inauguration of this chapel marks the beginning of this long journey that lies ahead. You all are cordially invited to witness this joyous occasion in Chorao tomorrow (4-Sep) evening. Chorao villagers will be grateful for any coverage your esteemed publications could provide to this event. Thanks & regards, Vincent Toscano. (on behalf of Chorao communidade committee and St. Bartholomew Church committee)
