Goa Sudharop is pleased to team up with our Board Member, Ken Coelho, who is actively involved with the San Francisco Council of the United Nations Association. We are reaching out to the Bay Area community to volunteer with Ken. Please see Ken's message below and contact Ken to volunteer at [email protected] ------Dear Fellow Goa Sudharop volunteers, The United Nations Association (UNA) of the United States of America - San Francisco's Council is organizing UN Day to celebrate the United Nation's 71st Anniversary on Sunday, October 23rd at the Fort Mason Center Firehouse at 2 Marina Blvd in San Francisco, CA, 9AM to 6PM. The Council is seeking volunteers to help with the event. A number of volunteer opportunities are available. As a Board of Director of the United Nations Association of San Francisco, I would like to extend a warm welcome for volunteers from our Goa Sudharop community. We hope this will lead to an ongoing collaboration with the the council every year to put on joint events across the Bay Area. Opportunities available for UN Day include:1) Audio-visual lead2) person experienced with Live streaming 3) table exhibitor manager4) concierge for the disabled 5) guest ushers 6) volunteers to help with set up (morning)7) volunteers to help with take down (6pm onwards) If you would like to volunteer for any of these opportunities, or if you would like to serve as a general volunteer, please email me directly at [email protected].
